January 24, 2023 - Hooded Horse is excited to announce that it’s bringing two of its upcoming games to Steam Next Fest’s February 2023 event - the highly anticipated turn-based tactical game Xenonauts 2, and Viking-themed action/base-builder Sons of Valhalla. Both entries will feature brand new demos, offering players a new and improved glimpse as to what’s coming later this year.
Xenonauts 2’s demo will offer a fully-armed and operational slice of gameplay with all features accessible. Players will have 50 days’ worth of in-game time to lead the early phases of your defense of earth. The Steam Early Access release is expected to deploy during Q2 2023. The Sons of Valhalla demo offers players the chance to play through the first level, featuring a warband’s worth of improvements from the past year - from the new rune system, an additional difficulty mode, simplified item usage, a new death mechanic, and more! Sons of Valhalla is targeting a release in the Summer of 2023, and a press kit is available here.
Steam Next Fest’s February 2023 event runs from February 6 - 13. Hooded Horse recently released the latest news on its 2023 line-up - expect to see more games in future editions of Steam Next Fest.
