Austin, Texas – 19 September 2024: Loddlenaut has landed on Nintendo Switch™, bringing the adorable adventures of an interstellar custodian into the palms of your hands, complete with all-new features including a gardening mechanic and ancient loddles. All existing PC and Mac players who load up their games today will also discover the free Goddles update ready to download and explore.
Players will splash down on GUP-14, a heavily polluted ocean planet which they're tasked with cleaning up using a range of tools spanning bubble guns, vacuum devices, and rideable Puddle Scrubbers. Along the way, they'll find and raise adorable alien creatures known as loddles, who can be fed and played with to evolve them into a variety of weird and wonderful forms.
The free Goddles update adds a new gardening mechanic, with players now able to plant seeds across the planet, which will grow into plants that can prevent pollution spreading in already cleaned areas. A new area has also been discovered on GUP-14, which hides an ancient secret – but players will need to find it first...

Loddlenaut began as a NYU Game Center thesis project by Ricardo Escobar and Jin-Young Sohn in August 2019. After graduating in May 2020 and with support from the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation, they formed Moon Lagoon, LLC to transform their student project into a full commercial release.
