Global game publisher CFK (headed by Chang-sig Koo) is proud to announce today (3/28) that it has released interactive movie game Motesolo: No Girlfriend Since Birth to the globe on Playstation 4 (PS4).
Motesolo: No Girlfriend Since Birth was released first to the Nintendo Switch™ before coming to the Playstation 5 (PS5) and Xbox Series XlS. In being made available on Steam and all consoles, even more players will be able to experience the fun packed into Motesolo: No Girlfriend Since Birth.
Motesolo : No Girlfriend Since Birth is a first-person interactive movie game developed by the Korean indie game devs at INDICAVA INTERACTIVE. One late afternoon, you (the gamer) happen to overhear a conversation between a man and a woman at a café in Seoul, and suddenly you come up with a daring plan to jump into their perspectives and help them escape their lives as singles.
Motesolo: No Girlfriend Since Birth won the Indie Game Award at the 2021 Korea Game Awards and has demonstrated its popularity and entertainment value by receiving a “Very Positive” rating on Steam. To share all the fun this game has to offer with even more gamers, it’s slated for a global release onto the Nintendo Switch™ in 2023.
▶ Game synopsis
One late afternoon in Seoul, you overhear a conversation between two people at a café and decide to eavesdrop on what they have to say.
“Uh, what’s going on here? These two people aren’t compatible at all, yet they were set up on a blind date?! But this guy... it’s like someone else is doing the talking for him with all the nonsense spewing out of his mouth and how badly he’s screwing this up.”
Before you know it, you’ve transported yourself inside their viewpoints, taking an active role in the fierce mental game that is this tense conversation. What sort of ending will the words you carelessly throw at the other person lead them to?
Enjoy playing through a story where the ending rests entirely on the choices you make.
▶ Main characters
1) Kimo Kang: Just your ordinary office worker who enjoys assembling piping and playing video games… yet he is an “NGSB,” having never been in a single relationship before. Will he succeed on this blind date? Suppress Kimo’s desire to make stupid jokes with all of your might!
2) Yumi Kim: A woman who simply adores the arts. Yet, for some reason, she looks so depressed. What exactly makes up that personality of hers?
▶ Gameplay
This game puts you in the shoes of protagonist Kimo Kang, where you must select various dialogue options from a list of choices to continue the smooth flow of your conversation. Depending on your choices, a variety of situations and events can play out, meaning your choices affect the ending of Kimo’s story.
In addition to this, you can interact with your surroundings and the various objects you see in-game. While seated, you can use your smartphone or acquire items by investigating your surroundings. Moreover, a number of minigames will pop up depending on what situations players find themselves in, adding a fun twist to the events of the story.
CFK is also holding a promotional discount along with the PS4 release of Motesolo: No Girlfriend Since Birth to allow more players to experience the game.
