LONDON, 18th June 2024 - Kabloop is excited to announce that DIGGERGUN has been nominated for the “BIG Impact: Social Matters” award at the gamescom latam BIG Festival.
“It’s such a huge honour that DIGGERGUN has been nominated for this award. I couldn’t be happier to see my game listed beside some of the other exceptional nominees”, said Kabloop, the game’s solo developer, “as DIGGERGUN is about inequality and the cost-of-living crisis, I hope that DIGGERGUN contributes to a wider conversation about our duty of care to each other.”
Gamers will be able to play a demo of DIGGERGUN at gamescom latam in São Paulo. For those who can’t make the event, the demo will also be available to play online via the gamescom latam website.
This year's gamescom latam takes place at the São Paulo Expo in Brazil, from 26-30 June.
DIGGERGUN is available to wishlist on Steam, and an updated trailer can be found on Steam and on YouTube.
DIGGERGUN will be released on PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch™ and Windows PC via Steam® in 2024, with support for multiple languages. DIGGERGUN is published by Grab The Games.

Low wage. Exhaustion. Expensive fish and chips. Welcome to the United Kingdom.
DIGGERGUN is an oppressive life sim platformer about workers, minimum pay and the environment. You’re trapped on a blustery island, forced to work at Cornwall Mining Corp where it’s shadier than the game’s monochrome palette.
To escape, you need to earn £3000 from digging precious lithium. To survive, you need to manage your time, energy and money during the rigid day-and-night cycle.
Will you make ends meet while digging for freedom or find another way out and bring down the whole bloomin’ system?
