Epic Seven's New Moonlight Hero Showcase: New Moon Luna
Various New Content Update Preview

[2024-0621] Through the online showcase on Friday the 21st, Smilegate announced that its global hit mobile RPG "Epic Seven," serviced by Smilegate and developed by Super Creative, has unveiled a new 5★ Moonlight Hero, New Moon Luna, and also shared a diverse array of new content updates.
The newly revealed Moonlight Hero, New Moon Luna, is a 5★ Light elemental Mage. With her kind and warm-hearted nature as a half-Dragon, she holds Yufine, another Dragon Hero, dear as her younger sister. Despite being a Hero who ended the long-standing war of dragons, she now works as a royal mage among Humans, while keeping her origins a secret.
New Moon Luna possesses skills including "Radiant Strike," "Demon-Sealing Spear," and "Moon's Judgment." One of her distinctive traits is nullifying debuffs from enemy Heroes and Artifacts once, excluding damage. Particularly noteworthy is her "Moon's Judgment," which can completely dispel all buffs from enemy units and inflict "Seal" and "unable to be buffed," significantly reducing their combat power.
In celebration of the New Moon Luna update, Smilegate is also holding a check-in event. Starting from the 4th of next month, users can participate in the "Luna's Gift 14-Day Check-In Event," where simply logging in will earn them various items, including 600 Mystic Medals, a Limited Covenant Hero, Luna, and a 5★ Artifact Summon Ticket.
Additionally, starting on the 27th, the new Moonlight Theater, "Days of Piercing Cold," will be updated sequentially. Set in Eureka of an alternate universe, this theater features existing Heroes such as Fallen Cecilia and Abyssal Yufine, together with New Moon Luna. Amidst the long-standing war between the Karoons and the Winds, an intriguing storyline unfolds, intensifying the conflict between New Moon Luna and Fallen Cecilia.
Furthermore, a new Rift season will begin, where users can fight to choose the equipment set they desire. In Season 2, a new boss monster, Abyssal Tyrant Kraken, will be introduced. Overall gameplay difficulty has been eased and the amount of Energy consumed upon re-entering the Rift has been reduced, allowing users to enjoy the game without added stress. Season rewards will also offer selectable Reforging Materials to cater to user preferences.
Hall of Trials, which requires players to strategize based on each boss's characteristics, will see the addition of a new event boss, Abyssal Yufine, with the New Moon Luna update. Additionally, two new exclusive equipment for 5★ Moonlight Heroes, obtainable from Hall of Trials, will be introduced.
Lastly, the Arena is undergoing significant changes. The number of opponents to choose from when entering the Arena will be reduced from five to three, and defeating just one of the three will refresh the opponent list, allowing for more varied battles. Moreover, achieving high win streaks now gives more rewards, and an Arena Pass will be added, granting access to special frames and season equipment. Also, a new league, "Emperor," will be introduced, and a "Quick Match" feature will be updated, enabling players to quickly view up to 10 battle results per day.
