Games Done Quick reaches new lifetime total $50 million for charity during Summer Games Done Quick

Games Done Quick has reached a new milestone during its speedrunning marathon Summer Games Done Quick 2024, currently running 24/7 from June 30 to July 6 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. For the first time in Games Done Quick’s 14-year history, the grassroots speedrunning organization has raised a whopping lifetime total of $50 million, which was hit during the Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice run by Mitchriz.

This year's Summer Games Done Quick raises funds for Doctors Without Borders / Médecins Sans Frontières, a nonprofit dedicated to delivering emergency medical aid to people in crisis. Games Done Quick has benefitted several impactful nonprofit charities since its 2010 debut, including AbleGamers, Doctors Without Borders, Organization for Autism Research, Malala Fund, and Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Summer Games Done Quick 2024, broadcast from the Hilton Minneapolis Downtown in Minnesota, can be watched live online via Games Done Quick’s Twitch channel. Check out the full SGDQ 2024 schedule here.
