Guildford, UK, 26th June 2024 - Future Tech Games and THE FLIP are proud to be a part of UploadVR’s 2024 Summer Showcase, announcing the PvE zombie shooter’s first major update. Set to arrive this Fall, the update will add more locations, new zombies and a special surprise!
Kicking things off, THE FLIP will add two brand new locations to its roster, upping the available maps from 11 to 13. Firstly, Kreep Rising drops players into Flip City’s deadly underground. Players will contend with a collapsed metro station as they blast through ever-increasing hordes of ravenous zombies. Whilst in Havoc in Suburbia the undead come from every direction as friends team up to destroy Nodes and explore a housing estate before Exfilling on a seaside pier.
These dark and misty maps are more dangerous than ever! Future Tech Games will be introducing three new zombie variations to keep players on their toes. The Shuffling hordes will now look even more abhorrent whilst the fearsomely fast Agiles become even more frightening. Finally, the iconic Tanks have been given a makeover to ensure their lumbering mass strikes terror into the heart of every player.
Lastly, the brand new trailer, premiered at the Upload Showcase, gives players their first glimpse of “Reginald”, THE FLIP’s next avatar! Complementing the already available “Fred”, “Reginald” will give players greater customisation options to make them stand out and be noticed as they tread a path through Flip City.
