Ninja Kiwi will open limited time public fully playable access for Bloons Card Storm

Fans can try the new PVP battler set in the Bloons universe from 21st to the 30th August

Ninja Kiwi, the studio behind the global smash hit Bloons series, has announced a new public preview for Bloons Card Storm. Bloons Card Storm is a brand new collectable card game set in the Bloons universe. Running from the 21st to the 30th August, players will be able to begin building their decks and battling it out in both PvP and PvE modes.

Players will be able to download the game and challenge competitors  via Steam from the 21st August 2024.

Launching in 2024, Bloons Card Storm is a brand new collectible card game set in the Bloons universe, combining elements from the series' tower defence pedigree with active offence via card based gameplay. With both PVE single player adventures and strategic PVP gameplay, Bloons Card Storm gives players the chance to build powerful decks and collect their favourite Bloons universe heroes to battle it out for victory, and find out who the real Bloons popping master is.

During each battle, players are able to place Bloons to attack, while defending with heroes and towers, introducing the Bloons’ signature tower defence into a collectible card game (CCG) in a refreshing blend of mechanics. Players will use their cards to deploy game altering powers to change the tide of battle and outsmart their opponent, and engage in deep strategic matches that never play out the same.

Various unique maps add further depth to the game, introducing subtle passive gameplay effects that impact players’ strategies.. There is also a brand new mechanic called the Storm, which can have a range of effects, including surprising players by adding more Bloons to the battlefield, or even stunning base defences. This means even the most confident commander needs to stay vigilant to outsmart the competition.

Bloons Card Storm will be released later in 2024, as the latest game in the Bloons series. Players can expect new cards, single player DLC Adventures and much more following its release, keeping the meta growing and advancing.

The Bloons IP continues to grow, with Bloons TD 6 remaining as Steam’s 14th most highest rated title, alongside being in the top 10 paid apps on iOS and Android since it launched in 2018.

Scott Walker, CEO of Ninja Kiwi says: “We have the huge privilege of having a fantastic player community that is united in their love for all things Bloons - the deep strategic tower defence gameplay and the rich, constantly expanding world that surrounds it. Our team has worked hard to bring Bloons fans a fresh and exciting gameplay experience that is also immediately recognizable as being fully Bloons. We love the history, depth and richness of the Bloons series, and Card Storm is the next big step on our journey. I am thrilled to welcome players to try the game for themselves and as always, work with their feedback to make it our best game yet.”
