RallyHere Powers Successful Closed Alpha Test Weekends for Cross-Platform MOBA Sequel SMITE 2

SMITE 2 Deep Dive Video - Upgrading Backend Services with RallyHere

Alpharetta, GA, June 20, 2024 - RallyHere is proud to power the backend services for SMITE 2, the upcoming sequel to the popular MOBA. The first closed alpha test weekend attracted 130,000 players, with 19% playing more than 20 hours in a 58-hour window.

RallyHere’s modern backend supports cross-platform multiplay across PC and consoles, offering developers tools for matchmaking, player progression, commerce, server management, and advanced analytics. This backend builds on RallyHere’s experience supporting over 200 million players across various games.

Key improvements in RallyHere include a fully managed service that handles everything from backend systems to game servers, offering a plug-and-play integration layer for developers. This modern approach provides dynamic updates and real-time feature management, reducing downtime and enhancing player experience.

RallyHere’s enhanced scaling architecture and fleet management capabilities ensure the system can handle millions of players. The platform allows dynamic scaling for sessions and matchmaking, which is crucial during high-demand periods like season launches.

Customization and flexibility are at RallyHere’s core, enabling game developers to rapidly adapt to player feedback and run a dynamic live service. The integrated player support portal helps resolve issues faster and increases player satisfaction.

SMITE 2 will enter a 24x7 Closed Beta later this year, with a free-to-play Open Beta in 2025.
