June 21, 2024 - Hooded Horse and Firesquid are pleased to announce that they’ve chosen the final line-up for TactiCon, the digital convention dedicated to uplifting strategy games of all kinds. Between July 18 - 22, 2024, over 100 titles will be available to browse, with discounts, demos, and deeply entertaining announcements.
Strategy gamers will encounter over 100 titles across seven sub-categories across the five-day event, from the latest and greatest to hidden gems. As in previous years, TactiCon 2024 will kick off with an exciting showcase featuring a barrage of gameplay, trailers, and reveals from the select participating developers.
The list includes, but is not limited to:
- Firesquid’s line-up of strategy games, from the recently released Reus 2 to Crab God.
- The entire Hooded Horse catalog of strategic and tactical games, including Manor Lords, Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic, Empires of the Undergrowth, and Against the Storm.
- Nine games from Paradox Interactive and Paradox Arc, including Crusader Kings III, Hearts of Iron IV, Stellaris, and Europa Universalis IV.
- Shiro Games is bringing three excellent strategy games – Wartales, Dune: Spice Wars, and Northgard.
- Owlcat Games’ epic 40K CRPG, Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, as well as the studio’s previous hit, Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous.
- Iconic games such as Dwarf Fortress (Bay 12 Games), RimWorld (Ludeon Studios), Darkest Dungeon II (Redhook), and Timberborn (Mechanistry).
- A selection of highly anticipated upcoming titles, such as Knights in Tight Spaces (Ground Shelter), ZEPHON (Proxy Studios), Wandering Sword (Spiral Up Games), and Tempest Rising (Slipgate Ironworks).
