Introduction:

On February 20, 2025, at 10 AM (UTC+8), Pan Studio, under Hero Games, officially launches the first Closed Beta (CBT1) for Duet Night Abyss, with its latest game trailer. It marks the first official CBT since the technical test in March 2024, which will be available on PC and mobile platforms and will run for 9 days, ending on February 28 at 5 PM (UTC+8). CBT1 showcases optimized game environments, improved character models, and enhanced combat experiences. Highly customizable features, such as weapon coloring and attack combinations, have been fine-tuned to offer players greater creative freedom. Additionally, the update introduces co-op mode, roguelike mechanics, and a pet system, empowering players to craft unique strategies and explore gameplay possibilities. Meanwhile, the official content creation programs remain open, providing participants with opportunities to win exciting prizes.

 

New Characters, Gameplay, and Voice Acting Revealed

CBT1 introduces a variety of new characters and storylines, enhanced with voice acting for a fully immersive narrative experience. It also expands gameplay mechanics with a new weapon coloring system and more character accessories, offering players greater customization options. Additionally, the pet system, co-op mode, and roguelike mechanics bring diverse content, enriching both exploration and strategic depth.

New Characters with Multi-Language Voice Acting

The characters showcase a distinctive "demon horn" design inspired by natural aesthetics. This CBT introduces multiple new characters, including Fina, Hellfire, Randy, Margie, Yale and Oliver, and Sibylle. Building on the foundation of Technical Test in March last year, the game now supports voiceovers in four languages: English, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese.

 

Expanded Customization: Weapon Colors and Character Accessories

Players can craft melee and ranged weapons while customizing their appearance with a wide range of color options, adding unique style and personality to their arsenal. Additionally, players can personalize character accessories to create a one-of-a-kind look from a diverse range of options.

 

Pet System

The new pet system introduces loyal companions that join players on their journey and provide strategic support during battles.

 

Multiplayer Co-op Mode

The multiplayer co-op system is now available, allowing players to team up with up to three friends to tackle battles together.

 

Roguelike Mechanics

The roguelike gameplay mode operates independently from the game's progression and offers a wide variety of random buffs with diverse enhancements. Players can select different buffs after each battle and encounter random events during exploration, with every decision shaping their journey. Buffs can be freely combined, enabling players to craft personalized combat strategies and enjoy a fresh experience with every session.

As part of the CBT1 launch, Duet Night Abyss continues its UGC Submission Event alongside its Official Creator Recruitment Program. Participants are invited to submit original game-related videos or artwork for a chance to win exciting prizes, exclusive game merchandise, and even opportunities for long-term collaboration with Duet Night Abyss official team.

Creators can explore various content formats to participate in the UGC Event, including but not limited to gameplay videos, story breakdowns, character artwork, custom emojis, memes, and stickers.
