LINE Games to Soft Launch New Match-3 Puzzle Game, ‘Hello Kitty Friends Match’!

[2025-0416] LINE Games announced a soft launch of the new mobile match-3 puzzle game ‘Hello Kitty Friends Match’ developed by its affiliate, Super Awesome, and published by LINE Games, prior to its grand launch, along with the pre-registration.
 
‘Hello Kitty Friends Match’ is this year’s first release of LINE Games, which offers match-3 puzzle games featuring globally-cherished ‘Sanrio Characters’ such as ‘Hello Kitty’, ‘My Melody’, ‘Kuromi’, ‘Cinnamoroll’, and ‘Pompompurin’. The game is played in a landscape mode, providing users with intuitive gameplay and mesmerizing story of adventure.
 
The game sets out in ‘Dreamland’, where ‘Hello Kitty’ and ‘Sanrio Characters’ embark on a journey to gather the magical power of stars needed for the restoration of it. The game tells the story of the Sanrio Characters embarking on an adventure to collect star power in order to rebuild Dreamland, brought to life with charming visuals.
 
Furthermore, ‘Hello Kitty Friends Match’ employs larger puzzle icons than other landscape puzzle games to increase the visibility of gameplay, and embellished puzzles with charming gimmicks, allowing the users to collect 10 Sanrio Characters and over 100 themed costumes to grow the characters.
 
The announced launch of ‘Hello Kitty Friends Match’ of LINE Games will first take place in the Philippines and Canada. Meanwhile, the pre-registration will be available for other countries, and the grand global launch is scheduled for the first half of the year.
 
Users can pre-register for 'Hello Kitty Friends Match' on Google Play or the App Store, and will receive special costumes that can be used after the game’s official release as exclusive pre-registration rewards.
