About the demo
Celestial Empire’s demo is an early version of our game, made so the players may have a taste of the full game’s potential for free and before its official release. The story told in the demo is an introduction to the Celestial Empire, just perfect to experience the beauty, traditions and climate of ancient China. It will become available on Celestial Empire’s main steam page and will be out on 5th October, but that’s not all. It will also appear on STEAM NEXT FEST, which we all are pretty excited for! Come and try our game out!
P.S. The demo version does not contain all the features available in the full game release.
Feel free to stream our game without worrying about the soundtrack’s copyrights. There’s also no embargo on Celestial Empire’s streams, so you can start streaming right away, without waiting for its official release.

As the new provincial governor, you have the freedom to shape this city in your own unique style, blending urban and rural elements as you wish. Feel the charm of the local nature, mixing it freely with traditional Chinese architecture. However, be mindful that the gods themselves are observing your every move. Should you falter and fall into their disfavor, you risk inviting demons and natural disasters to wreak havoc upon you and your subjects.

The game introduces you to a unique system of water pumps that lets you irrigate all your fields while allowing you freedom in designing and building. Grow different types of crops thanks to carefully designed water channels.

Progress, Advance, Grow – Progression is the key, as every empire has to be built from very scratch and your ever-growing city is no different. Buy new technologies and upgrade production buildings to improve their total performance. Upgrade the housing and advance it through multiple tiers.
