Tokyo, Japan – April 24, 2025 – KLab Inc., a leader in online mobile games, announced that its head-to-head football simulation game Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team will be holding the Dream Championship 2025 tournament. This year will mark the seventh Dream Championship held to date to determine the number one player in the world.
The Dream Championship 2025 tournament is an official tournament hosted by KLab Inc. for Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team. This will be the seventh Dream Championship held since 2019 with extravagant rewards available for participants, along with an equivalent of 10 million yen provided as a prize.

Dream Championship 2025 Overview
In the Dream Championship 2025 tournament, an in-game Qualifier, Final Stage Tournaments, and Championship Tournament will be held to determine the number one player in the world. The Qualifiers will consist of two stages with the Season Qualifiers and the Dream Team Cup Qualifiers. The players that win their way through the Qualifiers will be joined by last year’s champion for a total of eight players to proceed to the Championship Tournament. The Championship Tournament is scheduled to be broadcast live on YouTube and other platforms.
Participants will be given exclusive merchandise, in-game items, and more. For further details, be sure to keep an eye on the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team app and the official website.
Competition Format
The Season Qualifiers will begin from May 31.
In the Season Qualifiers, Rank Match Qualifiers will be held where players will compete for Online Points that can be obtained through Rank Matches held in the app. Players that come out on top in the Rank Match Qualifiers will be able to proceed to the Final Stage Tournaments.
Two Seasons will be held for the Season Qualifiers. The top two players in the Final Stage Tournaments of each Season will be joined by one player that emerges victorious from a Play-Off Round where the players that placed third in each Season will compete for a place in the final five that are granted the privilege of advancing to the Championship Tournament.
Starting August, the Dream Team Cup Qualifiers will begin.
The top four players in the in-app events of both the Japanese and Global versions of the game will compete in the Final Stage Tournaments to win spots in the Championship Tournament.
In addition to the five players that won their way through the Season Qualifiers and the two players that proved themselves in the Dream Team Cup Qualifiers, last year’s champion will join in the ranks for a combined total of eight players to face off in the Championship Tournament.

Prize Money
Prize Money Total: Equivalent to the amount of 10 million yen
*The winner will be required to sign a contract specified by KLab Inc. and the Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team Dream Championship Organiser when accepting the prize money.
Prizes
Players that take part in the Championship Tournament and the Final Stage Tournaments will receive Captain Tsubasa: Dream Team and Dream Championship 2025 exclusive merchandise, items that can be used in-game, and more.
In addition, players will be able to obtain more extravagant rewards in the Rank Match Qualifiers than in the usual Rank Matches. Players will also receive in-game badges based on their final rankings for each Season, along with Dreamballs and much more.
