CELEBRATE ROCKET LEAGUE®’S EIGHTH 
BIRTHDAY WITH BIRTHDAY BALL IN-GAME EVENT STARTING TODAY 

 

SAN DIEGO – June 28, 2023 – Psyonix, the San Diego video game developer, is celebrating eight years of Rocket League with the return of the in-game event Birthday Ball live now! Birthday Ball features Event Challenges and Rewards, two Limited Time Modes, and birthday-themed Items featured in the Item Shop. The celebration begins now, while Rocket League’s official 8th Birthday takes place on July 7!

 

Birthday Ball features: 

 
  • Event Challenges - Players can complete Event Challenges to unlock a variety of Rewards including an 8th Birthday Crown Player Banner, Hemi Birthday Player Anthem, and up to 300 Credits! Golden Eggs can be earned as well and will unlock items from Champions Series 1-4.

  • Limited Time Modes - 3v3 Supercube will be available from June 28 - July 5 and 2v2 Beach Ball will be available from July 5 - July 12.
