Co-op RPG “Eydigard” Demo Debuts at Steam Next Fest This February

Narvik, Norway - Frostisen Studio invites players to experience Eydigard, a cooperative RPG set in the hauntingly beautiful fjords of Northern Norway. Drawing on Norwegian and Sámi folklore, Eydigard blends immersive exploration, strategic shapeshifting combat, and a richly atmospheric world.

During Steam Next Fest this February, players will have their first opportunity to explore Eydigard with a free playable demo. The demo introduces key mechanics, including shapeshifting into powerful animal forms, exploring cursed farmsteads, and battling supernatural threats in a post-plague Norway.Eydigard reflects the developers' passion for blending the cooperative playstyle of Valheim with the folklore-rich depth of The Witcher 3. Inspired by the camaraderie and emergent moments of multiplayer adventures, as well as the immersive storytelling and cultural authenticity of modern RPGs, Eydigard strives to create a uniquely engaging experience. With dynamic shapeshifting mechanics, grounded storytelling, and seamless solo or cooperative multiplayer for up to five players, it offers a fresh perspective on the RPG genre, appealing to fans of folklore, methodical exploration, and strategic combat.
