Glasgow, 9th April, episode 8 of Murder Mystery Machine, titled ’The Tyger and The Lamb’ is now available on Apple Arcade, wrapping up the season ahead of the game’s PC and Console release later in 2021. Watch the trailer
This episode brings the grand finale to this season of Murder Mystery Machine. With the web of connections finally laid bare, help CC and Nate connect the dots to uncover the conspiracy that began with their very first case together. As their investigation converges to its dramatic conclusion, they must make a choice that will change the city forever.
The episode features five new mysteries to solve across five environments and one final moral choice for the player. When the only person that can help crack the case is found dead in a motel parking lot, the detectives know this is far too coincidental to be a simple mugging, especially when the editor of The Tribune Newspaper Clancy Brown goes AWOL. CC and Nate will have to put their careers on the line to find the truth and ensure that justice is served.
With the 8-episode detective game complete on Apple Arcade the game is now primed for launch on PC and Console. Release later in 2021 the game will be launched digitally by Microids Indie on PC (Steam), Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. Full details: Murder Mystery Machine
PC players can have an early play of the game with a demo available during the digital festival LudoNarraCon, hosted on Steam from 23rd to 26th of April. Developers from Blazing Griffin will be participating in events through-out the period, including a dev playthrough and Q&A.
Justin Alae-Carew, Co-Head of Games, Blazing Griffin on the latest episode -
“As our grand finale, we wanted to do something a little differently with this episode. We’ve definitely raised the stakes and also incorporated a lot of our development learnings to advance our unique mind-map gameplay. While it’s the final episode, this definitely isn’t the last you’ll see of Murder Mystery Machine. We’re really excited to be working with Microids on the PC and Console release and can’t wait to see how players on those platforms enjoy the game.”
Coming soon to PC and Consoles, Murder Mystery Machine is currently only available on Apple Arcade via iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV. Murder Mystery Machine gives the player the advantage of playing 8 episodes for the cost of US$4.99 / £4.99 per month. For more detail visit: Murder Mystery Machine and Apple Arcade.
