Hooded Horse celebrates big sales and major wishlists numbers

October 14, 2024 - Hooded Horse’s big sale is over, but the fun doesn’t stop as the publisher of world-class strategic and tactical games celebrates some major milestones across the portfolio. Sales? Loads. Wishlists? Yes mate. There are plenty of reasons to celebrate, and it’s not even the holidays yet.

Starting with wishlists, Hooded Horse is delighted to announce that not only are there 13 million outstanding wishlists across the portfolio but also 9.5 million Steam wishlists were added over the past 12 months. Highlights include:

• Falling Frontier, the highly anticipated sci-fi RTS, crossed 600,000 wishlists.
• Nova Roma has earned 350,000 since being announced last year.
• Super Fantasy Kingdom, the highly addictive roguelite city-builder, has crossed the 250,000 wishlist threshold, joining MENACE, the next turn-based tactics game from the developers of Battle Brothers.
• Espiocracy, the Cold War grand strategy game, has crossed the 200,000 wishlist mark, along with medieval management game Blacksmith Master and god game Fata Deum.
• Fragile Existence has warped past 150,000 wishlists.
• Beyond These Stars, Mars Tactics, Capital Command, and Whiskerwood (which was revealed in July 2024) have all earned over 100,000 wishlists to date.

Meanwhile, plenty of gamers bought something during the Hooded Horse publisher sale, and plenty of lifetime sales milestones were achieved:

• Against the Storm has now sold 1.2 million copies.
• Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic has sold over 600,000 copies.
• Empires of the Undergrowth has sold over 450,000 copies.
• Old World has sold over 350,000 copies.
• Norland has sold over 300,000 copies since its early access debut in July 2024.
• Terra Invicta has crossed the 250,000 copies sold mark.
• Cataclismo, NEBULOUS: Fleet Command, and Clanfolk have all sold over 150,000 copies since launch.
• Xenonauts 2 has sold over 100,000 copies launching into early access last year.

That’s not to mention Manor Lords, which crossed the 2.5 million units sold threshold just prior to the sale. These numbers reflect lifetime sales to date across all storefronts. Overall, in the last 12 months Hooded Horse published games have sold over 4.5 million base game copies.

Finally, Hooded Horse is already laying the foundations for 2025’s release schedule and is looking forward to the upcoming releases of Beyond These Stars, Capital Command, Espiocracy, Every Day We Fight, Fata Deum, Fragile Existence, Hexxen: Hunters, Mars Tactics, Nova Roma, and The Way of Wrath, on top of other previously announced games for next year, such as Drill Keeper and Junxions.
