Press release

It’s official! Don’t Kill Them All is coming with even more content!

With a successful Kickstarter Campaign, players will be able to engage with emotionally intelligent and passionate Orcs on PC and Console.

Quebec, Canada, June 4th 2024 – With their Kickstarter campaign now over 100% funded ending on Thursday, June 7th, Fika Productions, the creative team behind the award-winning Ship of Fools, is thrilled by the excitement for Don’t Kill Them All! With that in mind, the studio wants to develop the game in collaboration with a continuously growing community of players. Starting with the backers, some will be part of the development process by designing Orc passions, designing NPCs, or testing the game during its beta phase in the coming year.

“This collaboration with the community goes further than that. We want to engage in a conversation with all of Don’t Kill Them All fans to create something new and refreshing for the genre,” said Antoine Grégoire-Slight, producer and co-founder of Fika Productions.

New enemy clan: Giants

The studio is adding a lot of diversity to encounters. Due to the hulking frames, players can expect Giants to be a commanding presence on the battlefield.

More moods for the Orcs to experience

The team is doubling the amount of moods that Orcs can have. For example, being proud boosts your Orcs' damage when they are directly adjacent to allies but makes your Orcs more stubborn.

Orcs can also express their Yoga learnings by being calm, a mood that diminishes the damage and Area of Effect (AOE) of your attacks for two turns. Orcs in this state are also more receptive to actions, meaning they will cost less energy.

Events and Holidays

Finally, time-sensitive events and holidays will be added to the world, providing an extra layer of strategy when planning outings. Some are triggered randomly and are more challenging to anticipate, while others occur only on specific dates. Merchants and travellers can arrive at camp on specific dates carrying speciality goods or important information. Rare roaming creatures may frequent certain locations at specific times of the year. Your Orcs’ birthdays will also be known to you if you’ve interacted with them enough, offering the perfect opportunity for gift-giving!
