Landnama - unique Viking base builder roguelite - to be released on Switch and Xbox!

Warsaw, Poland - July 18th, 2024 - indie publisher Pineapple Works and game developer Sonderland are glad to announce that Landnama will be launching on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X on August 1st, 2024.

The thrill of a dungeon crawler with the vibe of a city builder, Landnama is a non-violent, rogue-like survival base builder. You lead the first Viking clans to settle Iceland as time ticks down towards Winter's Toll.
A NON-VIOLENT VIKING GAME - There’s no combat or raiding, these are farmers, explorers, and builders, but you’ll need every bit of your focus to survive.

SERENE BUT DEMANDING - A taxing race against time with an ever present ticking clock pushing you always closer to winter in a beautiful, atmospheric world.

SINGLE RESOURCE, MANY PATHS - Only one resource exists in the game, Heart, that can be gained and spent in many ways, whether you want to focus on exploring the land as a hunting clan or by building your settlement into a thriving production hub.

Key features:

  • Explore the land and expand your settlement
  • Strategy! Plan out your buildings for off-the-charts synergies
  • Single resource management
  • Persistent upgrades and benefits earned through skillful gameplay
