San Antonio, Texas -- July 09, 2024 – Eleventh Hour Games, the indie studio that started from a Reddit post, has released the first major gameplay update for acclaimed action RPG, Last Epoch.
Last Epoch Cycle 1.1 - Harbingers of Ruin arrives today, July 9, with a plethora of new features, quality-of-life updates and fan-requested changes. Players can download the free update now to begin playing, and claim two unique rewards - the Gloomfeather pet and Midsummer’s Dream back slot cosmetics - by linking Steam accounts for Twitch Drops.
Cycle 1.1 adds new bosses, the Harbingers, a Nemesis system for new rewards, and progress through the ranks of the new Forgotten Knights faction. All of this leads to players eventually coming face-to-face with Aborroth, the all-new and all-terrifying Pinnacle boss.
To help the player, Harbingers of Ruin adds a much-requested Evade move to quickly avoid powerful attacks, as well as 30 new unique items to be found throughout Eterra, such as Harbinger’s Needle, and the Glyph of Envy.
Quality-of-life improvements for Cycle 1.1 include a new Blessings Stash, more Loot filtering options as well Legendary Potential and Weaver’s Will filters, changes to Merchant’s Guild and Circle of Fortune ranks, being able to search the Monolith Timeline, and many, many more.
Eleventh Hour Games also continues its close collaboration with the international Last Epoch community, adding multiple localization improvements for Cycle 1.1, including full localization support for the Japanese language.
Judd Cobler, game director of Last Epoch, has recently released a video discussing all of the changes in the Cycle 1.1 patch, on the official Last Epoch YouTube channel.
Last Epoch players should also keep an eye out for the upcoming Community Event, The Light Before The Dark, that begins on July 12.
