Indie game developer Abrams Studios that specialize in producing ‘nature games that are wholesome and fun to play’ is proud to announce the upcoming release of Morels: The Hunt 2, an exciting simulation game challenging you to hunt for mushrooms while snapping brilliant nature photos as a wildlife explorer and photographer. Released to critical acclaim and praise among its players in 2019, the original Morels: The Hunt has finally been gifted with a sequel taking you not just across North America, but across the entire world on a breathtaking journey to collect a variety of mushrooms, photograph animals, and complete weekly tasks. Coming exclusively to PC via STEAM™ in 2024, Morels: The Hunt 2 offers a unique gameplay experience suitable to players of all ages and experience levels.

Morels: The Hunt 2 offers a relaxing adventure game about mushroom hunting and wildlife photography. Your task is to find as many morel mushrooms as you can while capturing photos of wildlife that you encounter, all while enjoying the sounds and experiences of nature surrounding you. Explore locations all around the world. You will get 100 days per season as you unlock locations along your journey and discover hunting secrets, along with a few surprises!

 
Morels: The Hunt 2 includes seven unique maps to visit, each offering a distinct terrain and an adventure of its own. You collect and learn about many new mushrooms as well as familiar favorites from the original game. You earn points and level up your Mushroom Hunter Level. You can even discover new collectables like a crystal skull and robot parts! As you play, you can learn tips and tricks inside your Hunter’s Manual to help you throughout the season, and you can unlock new pages by moving up in hunter levels! You will also experience realistic weather, forecasted before each level that can change every day and you may even hunt at night if you’re brave enough!
 
Morels: The Hunt 2 not only features a ton of new animals, insects, and objects. You earn points from finding mushrooms and photographing wildlife to buy valuable items in the shop like bug spray to prevent ticks, first aid kits, raincoats to help preserve energy on rainy days, a headlamp for night hunting, upgraded camera and even a horse or an ATV to ride around on! New items have been added like bird feeders, sunglasses, and a compass. The snapshots you take along the way will be kept in your digital photo book preserving your precious memories. As a bonus, you may even come across mythological creatures from real-life stories of the forest like a Unicorn!
