YEREVAN, Armenia — April 24th, 2025 — Door 407 announces the release date of Diplomacy is Not an Option: Shareware — a free prequel to Diplomacy is Not an Option (a critically acclaimed survival RTS with 85% very positive reviews on Steam) will be released on April 30th, 2025. The new free game will follow the grandfather of DiNaO’s main character on his adventure to defend the independence of the Kingdom of Samreignia. Diplomacy is Not an Option: Shareware will be available on Steam!
Diplomacy is Not an Option: Shareware is a base-building survival RTS with an active pause, set in a medieval fantasy realm. Players become a glorious privateer, who accidentally gets an opportunity to serve the self-proclaimed Queen of Samreignia and defend the independence of the Kingdom… for a hefty prize, of course! Enemies are numerous — up to 25,000 enemies can attack your castle at a single time, so players have to master the arts of economy, warfare and magic to have a chance to survive.
Diplomacy is Not an Option has received good reviews from critics with 85% positive reviews on Steam and 81 Metacritic score.
The prequel features:
- A small campaign;

- Massive battles with up to 25,000 enemies in an attacking wave
