March 18, 2024 – Pompeii: The Legacy, the ambitious historical city-builder, has officially opened its Steam Playtest, inviting players to rebuild Pompeii two decades after the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. In Pompeii: The Legacy, players take on the role of a Roman governor, tasked with developing the city, managing its economy, and guiding generations of citizens, until the inevitable disaster strikes.
After a successful Twitch premiere, where players and creators praised the game's atmosphere, depth, and voice acting, the public playtest is now available for all strategy and city-building enthusiasts.
