Prepare for a poo-nami of monstrous multiplayer chaos this Steam Next Fest

Good, clean, creature-collecting fun!

Bristol, United Kingdom — January 28, 2025 | Get ready to be swept off your feet in this February’s Steam Next Fest as upcoming co-op cleaning sim Monster Mop Up announces its participation. Grab a mop and a couple of friends, give it some elbow grease, and revel in the satisfaction of a clean, well-decorated home and some new creature companions – even if they might make a mess of the place.

Set to launch later this year, the Yogscast Games and Terahard’s Next Fest promises good, clean fun (plus a considerable amount of, ahem, ‘monster waste’). As the new Custodian of the Ministry of Monster Concealment, players will be tasked with maintaining the secret existence of the rascally Ragamuffins.

Though they have a tendency to hide, luckily (or perhaps unluckily) they tend to leave a trail in their wake. Players must hunt, mop and remove any evidence of Ragamuffins from the human world. Whether it’s a humble home or an entire mansion, no trace can remain if the monsters want to continue their peaceful coexistence!

These fluffy little guys all come with their own personalities, each one filling the players’ Monsteropedia as they work. Combining creature collecting with cleaning and decorating, Monster Mop Up offers an utterly gratifying experience for players from casual cleaners to total completionists.

The Monster Mop Up demo will be available as part of the February Steam Next Fest, which you will be able to check out on their Steam page from February 24, 2025. For the latest updates, follow Yogscast Games on Bluesky, Instagram and TikTok.
