ATLANTA – NOVEMBER 15 – Out now, famous MMOs RuneScape and Old School RuneScape by Jagex have joined Hi-Rez’ action-MOBA SMITE as a crossover alongside a new Battle Pass, while the first fights leading to the World Championship are fast approaching.

Starting with its brand new crossover, SMITE introduces five new skins from the world of RuneScape, alongside several unique features: Skill Capes straight from the nostalgic MMO that allow you to flex your significant grinding achievements to other players. Walk 15 million steps? Get the Master Agility cape! PK 3600 players in the Wilderness of the Battlegrounds? The Master Slayer cape awaits you!
There will be 69 of these capes ready to adorn the backs of all the event character skins, and a brand-new RuneScape-style chat option that allows you to spice up your messages with commands such as wave2, or glow. Free Armor Trimming, anyone? This all comes alongside music straight from Old School RuneScape (especially Sea Shanty 2), cosmetic packs, and more nostalgic features from the game.
Allowing players of RuneScape to enjoy the thrills of grinding in our game as well as in theirs, the new Skins will be available either for direct purchase or through the new RuneScape chest, while other cosmetics will come as a Collection reward.
Neon lights. Cold steel. Rogue Mechs. Brave the streets of Cyber Tokyo in the brand new Cyber Tokyo Battle Pass, this time with a bit of a twist: New and Returning players (Returning players meaning anyone who hasn’t played SMITE in 2022) will receive the Premium Cyber Tokyo Battle Pass for free, allowing them to complete and play with the awesome new skins without a dime spent.
This includes Rogue Cyborg Izanami, Tokyo Knight Ares, Mecha Empress Hera, and Spectral Oni Cliodhna, all four of which exude mechanical splendor and are ready to impress friend and foe alike on the Battleground of the Gods!
For those interested in the more competitive end of the spectrum, Season 9 of the SMITE Pro League is rapidly approaching its yearly culmination, the SMITE World Championship. In just two weeks from December 1-4, four teams will qualify for the SWC through intense playoffs.
