SpiderHeck Debuts the “Scroll of Heck” Update on PC Today

Consoles join the ranks later this year

RIGA, LATVIA — August 21, 2023 — SpiderHeck, a non-stop PvP brawler from developer Neverjam and publisher tinyBuild, delivers the new Scroll of Heck update to parkour spiderlings on Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store today. PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC and Xbox Game Pass will join the arachnid fun on Monday, Aug. 28, with Nintendo Switch to follow suit in September.

Avoid meeting an untimely death in several new maps of epic proportions: Burial, Prisms, Hinges, Colosseum, Hammer Time, Excavation, and Drill, featuring never-before-seen dynamic elements like spinning hammers, suspended prisms, swinging platforms, and more. The Map Editor feature, exclusive to PC, also gains new elements to implement in versus maps including hornets, descending containers, swinging lasers, and other tricky obstacles to face in the fight to be the better arachnid.

Keep track of key achievements and overall progress with the Scroll of Heck, a brand-new menu screen accessible when paused. Spidey sword-swinging brawlers can now see all completed achievements and hats associated with each achievement and progress, easier than an eight-eyed spider with new colors unlocked at 25, 50, 75, and 100% progression.

Select cool profiles to use in versus battle with several options to choose from: Casual, for beginners still trying to get a hang of the weapons and gameplay; Standard for regular gameplay; Blade Master for those only dueling with blades, and One Shot, that sets every weapon to exactly one round, forcing players in a frenzy after new gear after each use. Brawlers looking for extra can set up custom settings and spice up the gameplay.

Along with bug fixes and other quality-of-life improvements, check out all of this in the Summer Update for SpiderHeck. Previously available to PC, PlayStation, and Nintendo, Xbox players can access the previous OUR PARK update featuring the Parkour Mode, Auto Shotgun, Gravity Saw, and Gravity Grenade weapons, new hats, and more on Aug. 28 as well.

SpiderHeck is available for PlayStation 5|4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows PC via Steam and Epic Games Store for USD $14.99 / €.14.99. It offers English, French, Italian, German, Spanish (Spain), Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese language support.
