Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle brings family-friendly FPS to PlayStation VR2 in May, demo available later this month

April 11, 2024. The JollyCo team is thrilled to announce that Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle is set to hit PlayStation VR2 hardware in May 2024!

 

The upcoming PS5 release will be accompanied by a brand-new demo, allowing PlayStation fans to dive into the candy-themed world of Sugar Kingdom before the full release. The demo will be available later this month.

 

The forthcoming PS5 release of Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle features all of the game’s existing levels, enemy types and gameplay scenarios. The PS5 debut will follow the successful launches of the game on Meta Quest and PICO last year.

Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle is a family-friendly, wave/rail-style first-person VR shooter filled with challenging levels and fun minigames. Armed with candy-themed guns and upgrades, players are tasked with repelling an invasion of a pastry army. Defend the castle against the waves of cake intruders who try to stage a coup d’etat in the Sugar Kingdom!

 

First launched in the Meta App Lab in June 2023, Sugar Mess – Let’s Play Jolly Battle expands JollyCo’s beloved Jolly Battle universe of PC & mobile titles to virtual reality, inviting players of all ages to immerse themselves in the fairy tale realm of the Sugar Kingdom and explore the story of the mysterious Sugar Prince.

 

Developers also plan to release additional content for the game later this year, which will include new levels and enemy types, as well as fresh gameplay scenarios.
