GUANGZHOU, China, December 4th, 2024: Today, NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment launch one of their biggest collaboration events to date, bringing the world of CD PROJEKT RED’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt to NARAKA: BLADEPOINT.
This year’s annual NARAKA fest has revealed its 2025 roadmap for the game, bringing with it partnerships with the iconic The King of Fighters franchise, as well as the return of the annual NARAKA: BLADEPOINT J-Cup World Championship.
Launching on December 4, 2024, the collaboration with The Witcher welcomes the White Wolf himself, Geralt of Rivia, alongside other beloved characters from the acclaimed fantasy franchise. Geralt, Triss, Yennefer, and Ciri will each be available as in-game skins for Tarka Ji, Cyra, Valda Cui, and Shayol Wei. To be a qualified witcher, mastery of both combat skills and unbeatable card power is essential. In order to better integrate the classic images of several characters into Naraka, we collaborated with CD PROJEKT RED to make some adjustments and upgrades to these four outfits. Moreover, the team at CD PROJEKT RED also helped craft the dialogues for them, hoping to bring delight to fans of the series.
Looking to the horizon with the reveal of the 2025 roadmap for NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, 24 Entertainment is excited to reveal a collaboration with one of the ultimate fighting series of all-time, SNK’s The King of Fighters. Classic characters from the revered roster will make their debut in the form of new hero outfits in-game. NARAKA: BLADEPOINT and The King of Fighters will clash in an epic battle of fists, feet and weapons in early 2025.
NARAKA:BLADEPOINT will be collaborating with Thai Boxing King Buakaw. The partnership features authentically motion-captured moves from the champion Buakaw Banchamek himself that will bring his fearsome and dominating fighting style to life in the game. Players will complete missions to collect tokens, allowing them to summon Baukaw during battles to turn tables on opponents.
A new hero will make their debut, Lannie. Lannie is a wandering street performer skilled in the art of Chinese traditional magic tricks. As a master of magic her skills are based around the ability to dazzle and trick her opponents to gain the upper hand in battles. Utilising what initially appears to be a simple piece of cloth to her opponents, XX is able to perform defensive human vanishing acts by disappearing into the cloth and using it to escape from battles stealthily or to repel enemies. She can also use the magic cloth more aggressively by harnessing its powers to move rapidly and unleash special moves that send her enemies flying.
Finally, the annual NARAKA: BLADEPOINT J-Cup World Championship returns on December 13 - 14 PT. The J-Cup is the ultimate tournament as the best players from around the world converge in a thrilling, action-packed spectacle of skill, tactics and character mastery. This year the battle for victory is set to take place in Changsha, China. The top twelve players from across the globe will come together to compete for the title and to go down in gaming history. Global fans will be able to tune into all the action across NARAKA: BLADEPOINT’s YouTube, Twitch and TikTok channels.
