Turn-Based Mystery Dungeon RPG Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir Announced for PC via Steam on September 26th

Face a mysterious, rising evil, journey across vast lands and create your own stories and dungeons in this Epic RPG Adventure

Bologna, Italy, August 9th, 2024 - Independent developer Operaludica announced today that their turn-based mystery dungeon fantasy RPG Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir, will be released on PC via Steam on September 26th, for £17.99 / $19.99 / €19.99. Coinciding with the release date, Operaludica will be also exhibiting at the Makuhari Messe from September 26-29 for Tokyo Game Show 2024.

Based on Sergio Bonelli Editore’s monumental ‘Dragonero’ comic series, Operaludica has further announced the release of the distinctive ‘Master Mode’ DLC later this year in Q4. This DLC will allow players to create and share their own dungeons and campaigns with the community through the Steam Workshop.

“We are very lucky to be able to bring life to the world of Erondàr through Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir” said Marco Pirruccio, head of Operaludica “Comics are all about imagining yourself in that world, and we are so excited to be able to share the world of Dragonero with a new audience. In our game, you can even create your own stories using the ‘Master Mode’, and can share your own adventures across the globe!”

Set after the comic story ‘Dragonero: The Origin’, journey on an epic quest of five legends in their attempt to save the lands of Erondàr. First, play individually as Ian Aranill, the Scout, Gmor Burpen, the Orc, Myrva Aranille, the Technocrat, Alben, the Luresindo and Sera of Rômelinwe, each with their own tale to explore. In their own quests, level up their skills, enhance their equipment and max their stats before forming the party and bringing each character together for the main adventure.

Immerse yourself in Erondàr, a vast and mysterious open world with procedurally generated and hand-created dungeons, breathtaking trails and intense encounters. Outside of the main quest, create your own adventure using the ‘Master Mode’, where you can create your own stories and tales to share with others. Use the ‘Creature Wizard’ to bring life into special monsters and foes, and craft the perfect lair with the ‘Dungeon Wizard’ tool. Design the ultimate fantasy RPG narrative with the ‘Quest Wizard’, then share your adventures and play the campaigns of others through the Steam Workshop. Where else can you make your own playable Dragonero adventure?!

Battle in turn-based RPG combat, using tactical skill usage, unique items and coordinated attacks to defeat fearsome opponents. Be aware - the more time the party spends in a dungeon, the more dangerous, and more rewarding, it becomes. Journey day and night across an array of biomes, dungeons and expansive cities, where you can meet the inhabitants of Erondàr, learn about the world and new quests, and trade goods to improve weapons and armor. At the end of each day, camp in the world to craft recipes, go hunting and restore health to prepare for the next encounter.

Dragonero: The Rise of Draquir will debut on Steam on September 26th. Curious fans who would like to experience the epic turn-based open world, linear party RPG can catch the game as part of the Steam Turn-Based RPG Fest from September 30th - October 7th, and can also try out the demo available on the Steam store page now.
