Irvine, California – December 14, 2022 Joycity is announcing the launch of their in-game charity drive event, just in time for the holidays, and in conjunction with Plan International to spread the holiday spirit to help children in need. Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls since 1937 and Joycity is honored to support their great cause this holiday.
Starting on Tuesday (12/13) there will be a special NPC in the game that provides the opportunity for players to obtain a special nametag and donation that directly contributes to the charity drive. By donating, players will receive a special in-game package specifically themed for Plan International, our partner in this great event. Joycity will be donating all proceeds from the special Plan International package sale. In addition, players can help by participating in the charity event and Joycity will add to the donation total based on the community goals reached.
The charity campaign will focus on helping children in Stung Treng province of Cambodia. The majority of children in the province can’t afford to attend school nor participate in outdoor activities. Joycity’s goal is to raise enough funds to lend a helping hand to 540 underprivileged children and create a playground, physical education facilities and raise awareness.
This charity drive will end on 1/9/2023 and is currently available on all platforms that 3on3 FreeStyle is played on. Joycity is looking forward to bring the in-game holiday spirit in full swing and smiles to the children’s faces in Cambodia.
