Announcing Netspectre – cyberpunk hacker roguelike by Iridescence Interactive

Iridescence Interactive announces Netspectre: a narrative hacker roguelike game set in a thought-provoking cyberpunk universe. Netspectre invites players to experience life of a hacker operative in a ruthless, futuristic, hypercapitalist world. Infiltrate networks, optimise your machine, and connect with the right people to setup your cybernetic arsenal and make the ultimate network run!

Netspectre
On its tactical layer, Netspectre presents the player with procedurally generated logical challenges that require smart thinking and occasionally also decisiveness under real-time pressure. The cyberspace is shown through evocative, algorithmically generated visuals accompanied by an adaptive atmospheric soundtrack.
On its narrative level, through short stories Netspectre explores the sociopolitical implications of capitalism taken to its extreme, challenges to the concept of humanity presented by the cybernetic technology, and the idea of cyberspace becoming its own fascinating environment in lockstep with the material world. Wide range of narratives paint a portrait of a complex world, touching on topics from business to entertainment or spirituality. Through captivating futuristic fiction, Netspectre inspires the player to explore their worldviews on topics relevant today.
