October 26, 2023 - Hooded Horse invites players to celebrate Halloween this weekend in Slug Disco Studio’s ant-themed strategy game Empires of the Undergrowth. This weekend a Wolf Spider will descend on the undergrowth, taking on all challengers in this infamously difficult level.
Players must take control of the ‘Hungry Spider’ whose ravenous appetite causes him to constantly lose health. Quickly get the 'devour' ability to stave off starvation, and unlock and upgrade his other abilities to take down bigger and stronger prey. Those who can overcome this challenge will get a rare and highly sought-after achievement!
Empires of the Undergrowth is available in early access on PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store for $19.99 / £17.99 / €19.99 / ¥2,480. A press kit is available.
