Set in the year 30XX, LunarLux follows Bella, a fearless Lunar Warrior, and her robot sidekick Tetra as they fight to stop the return of a deadly comet. Humanity has rebuilt on Luna after the collapse of Earth, but with time running out and conspiracies unfolding, it’s up to Bella to uncover ancient secrets, confront the ruthless Murk Slayer, and save her world. 

From soaring across the moon in a jet suit to petting every space dog (yes, it does something), LunarLux invites players to explore a handcrafted pixel world packed with interactive surprises, heartfelt characters, and easter eggs galore. Combat mixes turn-based strategy with action timing, encouraging players to stack Active and Support skills into powerful Lux Combos that reward skill and experimentation.

As Tetra, players can dive into malfunctioning networks to solve nostalgic 8-bit minigames, uncover hidden lore, and unlock new paths through the lunar mystery.

After its PC launch, solo developer CosmicNobab continued building on the world of LunarLux with major updates — including the Legend Update, which introduced new difficulty modes, expanded missions, and the fan-favorite Beach Episode. This post-game story chapter invites players to kick back in Summer’s Cove, take on new quests, and dive into a retro-style mini-game — a playful nod to classic anime detours between high-stakes battles.
