Morefun Studios, a subsidiary of Tencent Games, is inviting players to step into the mythical world of The Hidden Ones by participating in the Pre-Alpha playtest for the upcoming mythical 3D action-fighting game with a cinematic animation style. Players worldwide can sign up to be among the first to get a glimpse of the captivating action, stunning visuals and charming cast of characters portrayed in stunning cinematic animation style. The Pre-Alpha playtest is now live and will run on PC and Android for a limited time. Additionally, Morefun Studios is running a Twitch Drop of test qualifications from Wednesday, February 26 at 6pm PT to Friday, February 28th at 6pm PT, offering players even more ways to engage.
Players can register to participate in The Hidden Ones Pre-Alpha playtest here before March 2 at 6pm PT.
Here’s the content players can take part in during The Hidden Ones Pre-Alpha test:
- Game Mode Story – Experience cinematic cutscenes in the game mode story in Chapter 3, 'Same River Twice,' which features 8 chronicles.
- Game Mode Trial: Abyss of Tao – Take on legendary bosses in the trial mode, Abyss of Tao, featuring four distinct bosses, each with four difficulty levels.
- Game Mode Duel: Martial / Trio Clash – Engage in high-intensity battles across four match tiers, each containing three sub-tiers, two maps and two duel modes: 1v1 and 3v3 team fights (Trio Clash).
- Outcasts – Players will begin with 3 outcasts: Zhang Chulan, Feng Baobao, and Wang Ye. As they advance, they can unlock the remaining 11 outcasts by using Mystic Coins or Ethereal Coins, which can be earned through task completion and daily sign-ins.
The Hidden Ones, is inspired by the popular manga and anime ‘Hitori No Shita: The Outcast,’ and is set in a mythical world rooted in ancient Eastern myths and philosophies such as Taoism and Yin Yang. Players will wield unique skill sets to develop their abilities and engage in exhilarating, strategic and action-packed battles. Featuring thrilling Eastern martial arts combat, showcased through artistic expression, the upcoming title promises to deliver a visually stunning and captivating gaming experience.
