September 30, 2024 - Los Angeles, CA - dotAGE, a turn-based roguelite village sim by Michele Pirovano, will be coming to Switch on October 24th, 2024.
dotAGE is a classical town-builder in turn-based fashion with a claustrophobic map reminiscent of European-style board games. In the game, players must carefully think through every choice in order to build their village to withstand the Fate system and effectively utilize the dynamic research tree.
Started over nine years ago, dotAGE was created by an Italian solo dev, Michele Pirovano, during their free time.
“Originally, I designed dotAGE to work with the WiiU - yeah, the idea for dotAGE is that old!” said Michele. “The colorful style mixed with the turn-based gameplay make it shine on the handheld and make it also a lot harder to stop that ‘one more turn’ feeling!”
The Switch version mimics the PC build and will be updated to the latest patch that Michele will be releasing in October. The Switch version has improved controller support, optimization for handhelds, and more quality of life tweaks.
Please note: Astra Logical is not the publisher of dotAGE. We just really, really, really love this game and when we found out how few members of the press have reviewed Michele’s fabulous strategy game, we wanted to help change that for him. And let y’all know about the upcoming Switch port.
dotAGE is currently available on PC via Steam with an Overwhelmingly Positive review score. The Switch version will be released on October 24. A press kit is available at michelepirovano.com/dotage/presskit/
