Developed by Javier Martinez, a veteran of the EA Madden development team, COLLEGE BOWL came to life as a logical progression from LEGEND BOWL into the college ranks where there limited options for college football fans. Javier resigned from EA in order to pursue the development of a football game that he thought could have real depth, complexity, and respect for player's time. He wanted to give fans of the sport a new experience without the dreaded pain of microtransactions and cash grabs common to most football games in the sports industry.
As such, COLLEGE BOWL features a deep simulation experience combined with fun to play arcade elements, and is jam packed with customization options, thrilling game modes, and stunning features. Hailed as the spiritual successor to Tecmo Bowl, COLLEGE BOWL's heavily anticipated release combines both retro and modern football strategy, making it THE game to play for those who need to scratch the itch for deeply detailed sports simulation gameplay.
