February 10, 2025 – Human YoYo Studios is excited to share more details on CleanFall, the Noita- and Terraria-inspired open-world, digging-themed survival roguelike, with a brand-new gameplay trailer. Since its New & Trending debut on Steam (July 27, 2024), the demo has received an incredible 98% positive review score, and now, as part of Steam Next Fest (February 24 – March 3, 2025), CleanFall is launching an updated demo featuring new gameplay mechanics, powerful weapons, and deeper strategic elements for players to explore.

In CleanFall, players take on the role of a small but relentless cleaning bot, navigating procedurally generated subterranean landscapes teeming with monstrous horrors. With its dynamic turret-based combat, deep alchemic crafting, and innovative digging mechanics, CleanFall delivers a unique blend of survival, creativity, and chaotic destruction in an ever-evolving underground world.
What’s New in the Steam Next Fest Update?
- Turrets shoot out legs that physically grab onto monsters, other turrets, the ground, and structures. This can be used to create a tactical advantage.
- New floaty objects spawn around the world, allowing the player to build make-shift ships.
- New “Recycle Turret” that unleashes swarms of worms at nearby targets.
- New autonomous turrets spawn in rubble that help the player for free.
- New Venom Pistol Weapon.
- New Needle gun weapon.
- New Energy Sword.
- New Drone Launcher Weapon.
- New Melee Drones.
