Riot Games and VALORANT today revealed Nocturnum, a new skinline inspired by an ancient forbidden ritual. Imbued with fantastical elements that strike a balance between terror and beauty, weapons included in the Nocturnum skinline are the Phantom, Classic, Bulldog, Marshal and a brand new scythe melee type.
With Nocturnum, weapons feature custom kill banners and finishers. After killing each player on the enemy team once, the Nocturnum ritual is fully unlocked and Noctis is summoned into your finisher, swallowing the world in darkness. The scythe melee type comes equipped with custom swipes and inspect animations, as well as a unique transformation capability where upon inspection, it switches between a scythe and dagger. The dagger features a custom right click, plus added visual effects and audio on all actions.
Episode 9 Act II also brings players an all new Battle Pass, featuring items like the Overlay Phantom, Lava Lamp Gun Buddy and animated Resting Wingman Spray. In case you missed it, VALORANT also revealed Vyse, a new sentinel joining the agent roster who unleashes liquid metal to isolate, trap, and disarm her enemies.
Episode 9 Act II begins August 28, 2024 with Nocturnum available to players on August 29.
