February 10, 2025 - Hooded Horse is excited to share that it’s welcomed He is Coming, from Sweden-based Chronocle, to its family of world-class strategic and tactical games. This is a roguelite RPG autobattler where players must explore a procedurally generated fantasy kingdom, collect magical trinkets, and prepare for the arrival of The Big Bad™. The game is due to release on PC via Steam Early Access for PC in 2025.
Setting out with nothing more than a pointy stick and a death wish, players won’t have long to prepare before trouble arrives – every three days, players will need to face off against one of 30 powerful boss monsters on the hunt for unsuspecting heroes. Each has its own strengths and weaknesses, and players who manage a run smartly will be able to craft a build specifically to defeat each incoming boss in turn before facing off against the Demon King in the final encounter.
With only limited time to prepare, players will venture forth and find weapons, equipment, and powerful items to create one out of a near-infinite array of loadouts that will save the world (maybe). There are over 350 possible items to find and collect, but inventory space is limited, which will force some tough choices. Along the way, players will also fight other monsters and wild animals for money. During the day, these beasties are relatively passive, but at night they will actively hunt. Campfires offer shelter to avoid unnecessary damage, but in doing so, players risk losing out on valuable experience and rewards as a consequence!
And fear not, champion – win or lose, players unlock special rewards and bonuses for the next run! He is Coming also features an asynchronous multiplayer mode, Kingmaker. Seek out the fallen Demon King’s crown in the ultimate test of strategic prowess, where champions face off against the powerful builds of other players.

He is Coming will be localized from English into German, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Ukrainian, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
