[Sao Paulo] When Papaya Play launched the new Tree of Savior (TOS) server "Popolion" last year, many TOS players, particularly in Brazil, were thrilled. However, due to high ping issues, Brazilian users soon abandoned the game.
On August 12th, Papaya Play’s TOS team moved nearly all operations to Sao Paulo and started offering Portuguese as the default for game, web, and community support with the new Brazil server, "Kepa". Despite initial lag from higher-than-expected player numbers, Papaya Play quickly fixed the issue by expanding server resources. This led to a 40-fold ping improvement for major Brazilian ISPs like Claro, Vivo, and Vtal.
With the ping issue addressed, Papaya Play has been planning future developments. Currently, the “Kepa” server is celebrating Brazil's independence week, offering over R$200 in prizes for new players.
On September 8th (Sunday), the first Guild War will be held on the Kepa Server. Guilds that conquer territories in the Champions League will earn a unique Title and Banner with their Guild’s Icon and Name, marking their place in the server's history. These items will be exclusive and permanent for the top 3 Guilds.
