Solo developer Tom Daly and indie publisher Future Friends Games (Exo One, Europa, Laysara, SUMMEREHOUSE) have launched their lo-fi townbuilding roguelite Tranquil Isle today on PC via Steam! The announcement also comes with a new trailer.
Tranquil Isle is a lo-fi town-building roguelite. The game has two main modes: Classic Mode, where players must strategically place buildings to build up their high score and unlock new buildings and islands, and Sandbox Mode, for those looking to chill out and build purely for aesthetics and vibes. There’s no combat and no trading. There's also a Daily challenge, where all players will play for a high score on the same fixed map.
About the game
While away the hours on the sunkissed shores of your own tiny paradise! Tranquil isle is a combination of townbuilder and roguelite, set on idyllic, randomly generated islands. The sun will rise and set as you work to grow your town, managing resources and upgrades to keep everything humming along nicely.

Tom Daly (they/them) is a freelance 3D artist based in Ireland, and is a longtime fan of citybuilders, sandboxes, rainbows, and games that they’re good at. They have now launched their debut game, Tranquil Isle on Steam.
