With the beginning of the Tokyo Game Show 2021 Online, publisher CFK and developer Asteroid-J have released official screenshots and the trailer for the new “hyper ninja action game” Ninja Issen (忍者一閃). The game is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam, but you can get your first look on the official Steam page.
■ STORY
Kiba has been falsely accused of murdering the grand master of his clan. As he fights to survive, he suddenly finds himself in the middle of a metropolitan city far in the future. Wounded and left for dead, he is saved by an engineer who bestows him with new powers through cybernetic enhancements……
■ FEATURES
With its cyberpunk city brought to life with retro graphics, Ninja Issen (忍者一閃) invites players into a world filled with "hyper ninja action" as they work alone to annihilate waves of enemy troops using a variety of ninja skills and fight bosses coming at you with relentless, diverse attack patterns.
The official trailer dropped today introduces new features that have been added since TGS 2020. The new elements shown in the trailer, including cutscenes, a new stage, and gigantic bosses, allow players a glimpse into all of the progress that has been made on the game.
In addition to the trailer, the Steam page for Ninja Issen (忍者一閃) went live today, so gamers can visit it any time to check up on future news and updates.
