Limited Run Games Puts the Fun into Speedrun, Bringing Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore to Summer Games Done Quick 2024

Apex, North Carolina – June 18, 2024 – Limited Run Games, a premium publisher of physical games, announced today that they are proudly supporting GDQ (Games Done Quick), where for the first time, their popular platformer and love-letter to the CD-i™ generation, Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore will be featuring in the Summer event, taking place from June 30 through July 6 in Minneapolis, MN.

GDQ is a much-loved series of video game marathons, where the gaming elite compete in speedrunning challenges, all in the name of charity. To date, Games Done Quick has raised over $45 million dollars for charity.

To celebrate the inclusion of Arzette in this summer’s GDQ event, Limited Run Games is going one step further and announcing their very own Arzette community speedrunning contest! Starting today and ending July 9th, all members of the gaming community are invited to battle for the fastest time. Simply record gameplay of their run with no cuts or edits and submit their speed run. One lucky winner will win a signed Arzette: The Jewel of Faramore Collector’s Edition and a $500 dollar cash prize! Two runner-ups will win a signed copy of the game.
