Five New Heroes Being Unveiled this Week
Guangzhou, China and Los Angeles, California, United States, November 30, 2024 – Today, Marvel Games and NetEase Games unveiled the launch trailer for Marvel Rivals, the new Super Hero Team-Based PVP Shooter that lets players assemble an ever-evolving all-star squad of Super Heroes and Super Villains battling with unique powers across a dynamic lineup of destructible maps from across the Marvel Multiverse. The highly-anticipated game launches December 6 0:00 UTC with all heroes unlocked and free to play at launch and beyond. Players will be able to pre-load the game on Steam beginning December 4 0:00 UTC. In addition to the launch trailer, the development team unveiled a new map for Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface, and they also announced details about the game’s official soundtrack, along with a special fan AMA.
The launch trailer features renowned rock vocalist Chrissy Costanza, performing the theme song "Rivals 'Til the End". Best known as the powerhouse frontwoman of band Against The Current and for her iconic gaming anthems like "Legends Never Die" and "Phoenix”, Chrissy’s career seamlessly bridges the worlds of gaming and music. The official video games soundtrack for Marvel Rivals, Galactic Tunes, launches on streaming platforms December 6, with limited vinyl now available for pre-order on Mutant.
Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface Map
The awakening Knull has cast a shadow over the Panther God Bast. In response, Shuri sends the Guardians of the Galaxy to Klyntar to seek out a solution to this looming threat. After the Milano crashes on Klyntar, the Guardians bump into Venom. The two sides have different opinions on how to defeat Knull: Venom, having extracted the Knull Essence from a controlled symbiote, argues for caution due to its volatile nature and the risk of harming the planet's symbiotes. With Knull still dormant, Venom prefers to wait until they can harness this power safely. On the other hand, the Guardians, tasked by Shuri, are eager to immediately neutralize Knull's influence over the gods including Bast. At an impasse, they decide to go their separate ways.

Five new heroes will be unveiled this week. A new hero will be fully revealed each day leading up to launch. The heroes include Squirrel Girl, Black Widow, Cloak & Dagger, Iron Fist and Wolverine.
The Marvel Rivals and Marvel Games team will be conducting a special community AMA for fans on December 4 at 7 PM PST on the official Discord. Fans will be able to ask questions, meet the team and get all the latest updates.
