About the game:

A first-person, open-world adventure game set in the small town of Twin Lakes, Colorado where a Keystone XL type oil pipeline construction is underway. A local anti-oil activist, Tammy Taylor, is reported missing after a protest and Detective Sammy Jukes is sent to find her.
The game takes about 6 to 8 hours to finish.
The tone is mostly casual and comedic with short outbursts of real emotion sprinkled in.
Fans of classic adventure games, story driven / narrative games and true crime watchers will especially enjoy this game. Games with similar vibes include: Life is Strange, The Walking Dead, Heavy Rain, Thimbleweed Park, Paradise Killer.

The Story:

Inspired by the headlines: “No More Oil”, a protest group inspired by the “Just Stop Oil” movement, clashes with the oil company.
Generational conflict: Environmentalist young people are against their parents who are more concerned with the short-term economics of the pipeline.
Small town, big secrets: Each character has something they are hiding from the detective. Story has many twists and turns along the way. Nothing is ever like what they seem.
Setting the tone: Modeled after Twin Peaks and True Detective, and then injected with a dose of classic adventure game insanity, the game offers sincere drama and over the top silliness.
Law abiding adventure: Finally, a detective story that respects civil rights! Detective Jukes is a by-the-book cop. The player will need to follow the correct procedure and obtain search warrants when justified.

The Tech:

Unreal Engine 5: Unreal Engine 5 with the Metahuman tech to create life-like characters.
Fully voiced: All 24 characters were voiced by professional voice actors. The game features over 20000 words of recorded dialogue.
Classic adventure logic: Gameplay logic is inspired by the classic adventure games where the player collects clues and solves environmental puzzles to move forward in the case.
Choices and endings: The game features multiple endings based on player choices.
Of course there is a dog: Detective Jukes is accompanied by his canine companion. This good boy is also our in-game hint system. You can ask him what he thinks about the case.
Demo: A short demo showcasing the first beat in the story is also available today.

The Future:

Series will continue: This is the first game featuring Detective Jukes. The series will continue with new cases highlighting various social and political issues.
