Prague, Czech Republic, June 1, 2022 – Bohemia Interactive is pleased to announce the release today of Vigor Chronicles: Absolution, the latest installment in the series for their free-to-play looter-shooter, Vigor. The new update, will introduce a brand new story to listen to and follow, a new Elimination map (along with major changes to its game mode), a new consumable in the form of a radioactive grenade, the new L86A1 LSW machine gun, reworkings on various machine guns, and a number of quality of life changes.

Unfold The Next Chapter of Vigor Chronicles
With this new update, Bohemia continues to showcase the lore set in the game as part of a larger puzzle. Each update contributes a small piece to that puzzle, which will eventually help players put the bigger picture together. This time, the story is darker and more mysterious and explores the themes of morality and personal values, as well as how easily one can let go of them in a post-apocalyptic world.
Follow the research of Dr. Dubois and Dr. Azimov as they stumble upon a dark secret in their search to reverse the effects of radiation. No past remains buried.
What would you do if your morals were shaken? You'll discover the answer to that by finding the 11 cassettes in POIs in Encounters and safely returning them back to your Shelter.
“This is a story that will eventually provide a lot of information that wasn’t mentioned anywhere before. It will also make the players question the choices made by the characters and see if they would react the same way in that situation. It’s super interesting to listen to, and thought-provoking as well,” says Vigor’s Brand Manager, Filip Stastny.
