Zenless Zone Zero Brings New Eridu to Life in London

Singapore Aug. 21, 2024 — To create an engaging and immersive experience for the gaming community in Europe, global interactive entertainment brand HoYoverse hosted a special offline event called "Roaming New Eridu" in London. Featuring urban fantasy ARPG Zenless Zone Zero's unique visual elements and in-game scenes, the trendy art district of Shoreditch was transformed into a miniature New Eridu. In alliance with local retailers, Zenless Zone Zero reproduced the iconic noodle shop, coffee shop and prepared various interactive activities along the streetscape. From August 8 to August 14, Proxies attended onsite challenges to win exquisite merchandise and dove into the bustling life of New Eridu.

Welcomed by the elegant Bangboo Butler at the High Street subway station, visitors embarked on an enchanting journey that blended fantasy and reality. With various New Eridu Selected Stores, visitors were able to taste the Waterfall Soup Special noodles, sipped on Tin Master’s special coffee or the unique Bangboo Cold Brew, and received exciting merchandise. While the culinary delights were just the beginning, visitors also discovered hangouts that recreated the dynamic atmosphere of New Eridu's Sixth Street, including a carefully curated record store, an immersive gamebox, and a video shop.

True to the adventures in Zenless Zone Zero, ”Roaming New Eridu“ offered more than just sightseeing. Visitors engaged in onsite challenges to win prizes through lucky draws, spotted Bangboos throughout the venue, answered phone calls from Vicotria Housekeeping Co. through mysterious devices, solved puzzles of illustrated patterns of Zenless Zone Zero, and also interacted with an array of cosplayers portraying beloved characters.

The special event of "Roaming New Eridu" spread not only the vibrancy and unique aesthetics of Zenless Zone Zero but also the game’s joy and excitement in real life. With support from passionate Proxies, New Eridu managed to celebrate its endless imagination and stylish lifestyle with its thriving community.

Though the offline event has concluded, the adventure of Zenless Zone Zero continues to evolve. Proxies around the globe now can enjoy Zenless Zone Zero's Version 1.1 with brand-new stories and characters on PlayStation®5, PC, iOS, and Android. The game has been rated Teen by the ESRB and is also classified as PEGI 12.
