Rome , Italy - 20 January 2024 - Indie developer ActioGames.c.l.r today announced its next title, a 2.5D sidescroller, Darkness: Prince of shadows, which will launch on Steam in late 2024/early 2025.

The world is on the brink of the abyss, and the only hope for humanity lies within you. Defeat hordes of bloodthirsty demons, solve puzzles, and use your skills to save all of humanity from eternal damnation. Improve your abilities, choose the right path to avoid falling into corruption, and retrieve the only object that can save the world.
"We are excited to finally talk about Darkness Prince of shadows", declare the three developers of ActioGames.c.l.r.
"Darkness: Prince of shadows wants to embody within itself the spirit and some gameplay dynamics present in titles like God Of War and Dante's Inferno by fusing them into a 2.5D sidescroller, but at the same time it tries to maintain a gameplay dynamic that is more human than divine.
In fact, the powers that the two protagonists will be able to use will be linked to the weapons in their possession, which can be purchased and upgraded thanks to a merchant who will follow the players in some specific game areas.
There is a lot to say about Darkness Prince of shadows, but also a lot still to be achieved, the project is halfway through its development but its spirit is already visible and present in the gameplay.
