The roguelite title will release on Windows PC via Steam and the Epic Game Store on Sept. 30, and is currently available for wishlisting pre-purchase on both storefronts, with a 20% discount off its standard price of $29.99 on Steam through Sept. 29.
Fans and curious pirates-to-be can drop anchor and join the Tripwire Presents crew and first mate Przemek Ślęzak, Creative Director of Rogue Waters from Ice Code Games, on the Tripwire Interactive Twitch channel at 11:00am PT / 2:00pm ET today, Sept. 19, where the trio will be celebrating International Talk Like a Pirate Day with a hearty drink, a broadside of new information and details about Rogue Waters, and an extended first look at gameplay. During their voyage into the game the crew will showcase never before seen gameplay, charting the course for how greenhorn captains can recruit a hearty crew and outfit their vessel before setting sail on the high seas, where they’ll encounter nautical dangers including mythical sea beasts that may prove ally or adversary, depending on how the parlay goes. The publisher also cracked the coffer for even more booty, sharing an all-new Developer Walkthrough video with Creative Director Przemek Ślęzak, offering fans a look into the game’s tactical depth during combat on ship and ashore in their quest for wealth, power, and revenge on the scurvy captain that betrayed them.
